St. Joseph’s Medical Group (SJMG) is the employed physician group of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center located in Phoenix, Arizona. SJMG employs more than 250 providers and 400 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides services to more than 73 subspecialties. St. Joseph’s Medical Group aims to be the premier provider of primary and specialty care services in the Southwest. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal research and leadership roles.

St. Joseph’s Medical Group is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow’s healthcare providers. SJMG has 216 residents and 15 fellows throughout the 25 academic residency and fellowship programs. Medical school students also rotate through SJMG. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.

As part of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, SJMG has full access to the staff and all facilities on campus. This unique relationship with the hospital allows SJMG to provide its patients with state-of-the-art patient services including care of the poor and disenfranchised.
