St. Joseph’s Medical Group (SJMG) is the employed physician group of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center located in Phoenix, Arizona. SJMG employs over 300 providers and 225 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides services to over 38 subspecialties. St. Joseph’s Medical Group aims to be the premier provider of primary and specialty care services in the Southwest. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal teaching, research, and leadership roles.
St. Joseph’s Medical Group is heavily involved in preparing tomorrow’s healthcare providers. SJMG has 170 residents and 15 fellows throughout the 25 academic residency and fellowship programs. Medical school students also rotate through SJMG. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.
