St. Joesph's Hospital Spiritual Care Services
The Spiritual Services Department provides support for patients, families and staff and helps them to identify and use their spiritual resources, regardless of whether an individual is affiliated with a particular faith. Services include the following:
- Chapel services - Roman Catholic Mass and Interfaith Prayer Services
- Chaplains may be contacted 24 hours a day to assist patients and families
- Ethical consultations
- Consultations about Advance Directives (living will and medical power of attorney)
- Support for end-of-life issues
- Communion, upon request
- Catholic sacraments as availability of priest permits
