St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center’s and our outstanding pediatric medical staff is accepting new patients and continuing to treat existing patients.
Our pediatric intensive care units and our pediatric medical/surgical floors remain open with the same outstanding physicians and nursing support.
Recently, St. Joseph’s announced we are negotiating a strategic alliance that, when finalized, would result in transferring a substantial portion of St. Joseph’s pediatric services to Phoenix Children’s, when it opens its new facility in mid-2011.
This alliance is still in the negotiation stage and has not been finalized. Therefore, St. Joseph’s will continue to provide pediatric services to the community.
