The Internal Medicine Department provides internal medicine primary care services and specialty services to men and women 18 years and older who are well or acutely or chronically ill. Our team works in collaboration with multiple specialties, both inpatient and outpatient, to provide comprehensive care for our patients.
Our primary care physicians specialize in the medical care of adult men and women, and see patients on an outpatient basis. Physicians work closely with every patient, with a special emphasis on preventative care.
Patient-Centered Medical Home
The Internal Medicine Department believes the best medicine is a trusting partnership between a doctor-led health care team and a patient. A Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) is a system of care in which a team of health professionals work together to provide all of your health care needs.
Your primary care provider leads your care team, which may include residents, specialized doctors, nurses, medical assistants and other health care professionals. Our team acts as a coach to help you get healthy, stay healthy, and get the care and services that are right for you. You are at the center of your care team. Learn more.
