Pain Management
St. Joseph's offers pain management service for patients who experience pain as a result of illness, injury, or chronic conditions. The relief of pain and suffering is central to our mission and is an integral part of the plan of care for each patient. Our specialized team of physicians and nurse practitioners evaluate and treat pain in a holistic manner.
We offer interventions that include pain medication as well as non-medicinal options such as electrical stimulation treatments (TENS), relaxation education, and discussion of lifestyle changes that can improve pain. Our goal is to assist patients to return to their optimum level of well-being after hospital discharge. To promote continuity of care, the pain team can offer referrals to community based pain specialists after discharge from the hospital.
For more information regarding these services please call 602-406-7298.

The goal is to help the patient live as actively as possible with an emotional support system to sustain the family. Services are available for adult and pediatric patients and families both as Inpatients and outpatients.

Occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy provide services to oncology patients. Program comprises the lymphedema program, helping patients adapt to physical limitations, working with mobility problems, swallowing and vocal cord problems, and issues associated with facial muscle and/or nerve damage.
