St. Joseph's Is First in Arizona To Treat Prostate Cancer with CyberKnife St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is the first hospital in Arizona to offer prostate cancer patients breakthrough radiosurgery with CyberKnife. These treatments for early stage cancer are being conducted as part of a clinical trial. The CyberKnife is a state-of-the-art robotic system used to perform non-invasive tumor treatment.
St. Joseph's to Host Free Ovarian Cancer Survivors Course On Saturday, March 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Gynecological Cancer Foundation in partnership with the Comprehensive Cancer Center at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center will host a free ovarian cancer survivors course.

The Valley teen will receive professional photography lessons in Colorado next week thanks in part to staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and a photography company based in Littleton.

The initial consultation is free and a physician referral is not required. The risk assessments currently focus on breast, ovarian, colorectal and melanoma cancers.

St. Joseph's Comprehensive Cancer Center Receives Accreditation from the Commission on Cancer The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC) has granted a three-year approval with commendation to the Comprehensive Cancer Center at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. St. Joseph's received CoC approval for its commendable level of compliance with one or more standards that represent the full scope of the hospital's cancer program.
