Ms. Rimer joined the Arizona Child Study Center team in October 2001, though she has been at the Children’s Health Center of St. Joseph’s for 17 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree and her Master of Science degree at ASU in 1984 and 2000. She is certifed by the state of Arizona and the National Certification Board as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is a native Phoenician and was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital!
Ms. Rimer is a member of the Arizona chapter of the Society of Pediatric Nurses, National and State chapters of the National Association of Pediatric Nurses and Practitioners and a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international nursing honor society. In 1998, she was chosen as the “Nurse of the Year” by the staff and her peers at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Ms. Rimer’s clinical interests include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety and depression, and sleep disturbances. She has always been an advocate for children and families and continues to take an active role in educating parents and children.
