The Pediatric CARES Program at St. Joseph’s Hospital is a supportive program for any family whose child has been diagnosed with a life limiting illness. We understand that this type of diagnosis is a frightening experience, and that may families will have questions about what to do or where to go next. The Pediatric CARES Program was created to help answer these questions and to guide families along their journey. Our focus is to provide care for the entire family as they learn to cope with the illness and to minimize suffering for the child and family.
