Our inpatient program includes three pediatric floors with 79 licensed beds; a
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
with 24 licensed beds and a
Nursery Intensive Care Unit
with 50 licensed beds.
Our dedicated pediatric floors enable St. Joseph's Children's Health Center (CHC) staff to provide general care for children within a full range of ages and conditions, while still giving each child the special attention that is the hallmark of a children's-only area. The pediatric floors provide family-centered care for the full spectrum of acute and chronic childhood illnesses for which diagnosis and treatment require a child to be hospitalized.
The CHC at St. Joseph's offers a Child Life Program that provides support for siblings of our inpatient and outpatient pediatric patients and their families. Spanish translators are also available to ensure that our Spanish-speaking patients and their families can communicate with someone who understands their language and culture.
