Pediatric Residency Program
Welcome to the Pediatric Residency Training Program at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. We are delighted that you have taken an interest in Pediatrics.
Since our program was established in 1985, it has produced exceptional pediatric physicians. Children’s Health Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital is the second largest provider for children in Arizona. Our residents become part of a community dedicated to the mission of providing the highest quality healthcare available to all children in need. Residents are exposed and manage patients with a tremendous diversity of pediatric diagnoses and acquire the skills and integrity to meet the challenges facing pediatricians today and tomorrow. This is accomplished in an atmosphere of collegiality fostering interactive learning and professional growth.
While providing optimal healthcare that is patient-centered and culturally sensitive is a priority, the commitment of Children’s Health Center goes well beyond clinical care to include community advocacy and research. We invite you to learn more. This website is evolving and in it you will find information about our residents and faculty. We highlight a few of our programs. Soon we will also give you more insight about the numerous opportunities for community involvement and research.
