St. Joseph's is dedicated to serving the community's working poor. Thousands of volunteer hours and dollars are contributed each year to helping the community that surrounds the hospital as well as the state.  St. Joseph's employees donate their time to provide quality healthcare, assist those who may not otherwise receive care, and meet other community needs such as housing restoration.

To effectively improve the health and wellness of the community, we evaluate the needs of our region through a comprehensive three-year Community Health Assessment. The assessment provides a baseline and index on the gaps and needs within the community and directs us to the issues that need to be addressed.
