St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center Continuing Medical Education is committed to the development of up-to-date and original educational activities that lead to the highest quality of patient care and safety and the foundation for research activities.
This mission, based on our corporate philosophy, will be accomplished through a continuous planning process of identification of institutional and community medical educational and quality improvement needs. We are committed to:
- enhance physician competence and performance
- improve patient outcomes
- identify and overcome barriers that preclude self directed learning of physicians in our community
- encourage physician self-educational development.
